Wellbeing hubs
These community spaces provide access to health and wellbeing support at the heart of local communities. Wellbeing for Life works closely with community venues and groups throughout County Durham who support the vision of wellbeing and learning for all.
Known as Wellbeing Hubs, these spaces are focused on health and wellbeing and provide multiple activities and services for the local communities in accessible locations.
Each hub has a Wellbeing for Life representative who works closely with them to offer wellbeing support and advice. This could vary from regular drop-in sessions, delivery of programmes to support healthy weight management, stopping smoking, alcohol reduction or improving mental wellbeing. They also support wellbeing events and promote various health campaigns throughout the year.
If your venue would like to become a Wellbeing Hub, submit your information using the contact form on this page and a member of the team will contact you to chat about the opportunity. We can help you to engage volunteers who can help with your health and wellbeing activities.
